I am looking at starting a web design firm with some friends and want to follow all the legal procedures. Are they sole proprietorships or corporations? Do I need a business license? What paperwork and other legal things do I need to do? I am totally confused as to where to beginning finding out the step by step process to making my business legal and fully professional and recognized. I want to create a website to advertise myself as a bellydancer. It has been suggested that I do this but I want to find a decent free website that doesn’t ask personal information like phone number, address, etc. And it would help if they allow minors being that I am only 14.
Talk to your family about this. If you are a dance artist and are supported by your family it is extremely important to have them help you monitor the visitors to your site.
If you are wanting to create the site to teach others your art and educate them on the history of the art of choice here, you will more than likely not want a free site.
Please note that this style of dance could attract some unhealthy minds out there that you and your family should beware of.
Please know I m not judging your art but you are young and really need to consider the fact that anything you put on the internet stays there forever.
Please think carefully about your decisions and what the outcome is that you are seeking.

Find some local web design companies and call them up. Tell them that this is a project for a class, and you just want some general information about the expenses in being a web designer. Most that I know of would be happy to share this for a reason like this.

Sadly you won’t get a lot with that budget. At say minimum £500/day for a London agency, it will run out quickly.
