Born to Teach Art
I have always had an interest in art. I loved to draw and paint anything that comes to mind. I have always had the talent. I have won first place in art contest, teachers, friends, and my family have told me plenty of times I should do something with my talent. I have always wanted to become an art teacher. When I was little I would always set up my stuffed animals as if they were students and act like I was the teacher. Since I’m older now I know the only way that I could become a teacher is that I would have to go to college in order to become one. I shouldn’t have to go to college to learn a more detailed study of High School all over again. Plus pay for my education when you’re education should not be bought for. I do not need to know most of the things they teach you. There is no algebra in art. If you are going to say, “Well you need geometry” well that’s why rulers were invented. I think it comes from personal experience more then anything. I just believe if you are patient with others, have good communication skills, and you can draw, paint, sculpted then that’s all you really need. They should just teach you what you need to know in order to become an art teacher. It’s not like I’m going to be teaching math or science. I just love to teach since I train people at my job. I have personal experience with people and the passion for art.
