My father owns a Computer Repair and Web Design Company. He will one day pass it on to me, I need a Business degree first. I want to get the company making more money so I can move it into an office building and hire on staff, then continue expansion. I am looking at starting a web design firm with some friends and want to follow all the legal procedures. Are they sole proprietorships or corporations? Do I need a business license? What paperwork and other legal things do I need to do? I am totally confused as to where to beginning finding out the step by step process to making my business legal and fully professional and recognized. Find some local web design companies and call them up. Tell them that this is a project for a class, and you just want some general information about the expenses in being a web designer. Most that I know of would be happy to share this for a reason like this.

I actually came across and great company. Saw their ad on Kijii, Responded to the ad, and within 2 weeks my site was up and their prices was amazing. Only thing i did not like of them was their quality of their phone lines. sometimes could not hear them properly. But i beleive that should have been fixed by now.. They were very patient and kind with me. They are reliable and the great thing is they are very affordable. I would say they are tmy #1 choice of a web design company in montreal.

Unless you can get a company sponsor you for an H-1B visa (the applications can only be filed on April 1 to have any hope of getting one) you will have to get a company to sponsor you for a green card. That takes at least 6 years.
