Just a couple of ideas for you….
You could take them to the small claims court to get your money back, i have done this several times and although it can be a bit of work its well worth it to get your money back.
Also, i think you should name and shame them in the Echo, am sure they would be only too pleased to let you put an article in there.
I will also make sure I now tell everyone i know in the area aswell!!

Does anyone know any website formation companies, who can take on my project idea to build a site that operates on the scale of ebay, but is different from them? If a company cheats you out of money, i think you have every right to tell anyone and everyone so as to try to stop them getting away with it again!!!
