Have you been in a plus size clothing store lately? Well I have and I was shocked to see a size 8 in there. Since when is a size 8 a plus size? Do we really need to teach our youth that unless you are a size 3 or 5 then you are considered plus size? Plus size woman and plus size clothing are beautiful but a size 8 doesn’t constitute a label of plus size. I think we should be setting a better example about body image to our youth. I surely don’t want my daughter growing up thinking she is overweight just because she is a size 5.
