If I really had to decide what kind of wine I preferred I think my honest answer would be: It depends … and it really does. I mean wine is one of the most diverse things in the world. Tannin levels, sugar, acidity, alcohol content can combine together in such a dazzling number of ways that no two wines are ever the same. More than this though is the climate that grapes grow in. If you compare a Pinot grown in California to one that has been grown in France you will know exactly what I mean. They taste nothing alike … in fact if you were to do everything the same in the growth of the grapes and production of the wine, except for their local … they would taste nothing alike.
