Considering Lowering Cholesterol Food Choices

A food low in fat may still be high in cholesterol. For example, organ meats like liver or kidney are low in fat, but are high in cholesterol. Since cholesterol is not exactly a fat, it can be found in both high-fat as well as low-fat animal foods. Therefore the misconception that high-fat animal foods alone contain cholesterol while those that are not high in fat do not contain cholesterol is not entirely true.

Lowering cholesterol can become a reality for you as soon as you realise that many of the factors that are linked with high cholesterol are actually in your hands to be controlled, such as diet and exercise.
