A while ago I decided to remodel my toilet suite, and was amazed at the enormous assortment of bathroom accessories that were accessible on the net. The colours and styles leave one fighting to resolve what to buy. I am not the finest choice maker at the best of times, and all this choice makes it even more difficult.

What I had decided on prior to looking for toilets for sale, was that I needed to stay with one of the chief models such as Toto or American Standard. Their toilet ranges are huge, the capacity to harmonize virtually all the bath room fixtures, and the after sales and parts service is generally very good. I needed to find a toilet for sale that I wouldn’t have a problem locating spare parts for, or even replacing with a comparable matching model in years to come.

I had the misfortune a couple of years ago to purchase a cheap standalone toilet in a sale. Subsequent to fitting it in the bath room it suffered a major parts failure and I had to have a long wait to get the substitute part. This is often not an issue, but when you cannot use the only toilet in your home it can be a bit of a nuisance.

So, this time I decided to go with one of the main manufacturers to lessen the possibility of this occuring again. I had been told that American Standard turn out some good quality toilets, and though they are not necessarily the top of the range (although they supply budget to luxury models), they are a long established and trusted company.

At the moment in time I am in the process of fitting the unit I bought, and will write a further article with details of the procedure.
