Beer pong is the newest rage in party drinking games. This game has it’s origins in Beirut, and was originally played with paddles during it’s hay day in the 1950’s and 60’s, and not
beer pong tables like today.

The original game resembled a real ping pong game with the cups of beer on the end of each players side of the table. Today beer pong is played without paddles. Glasses of beer are set up on each end of the table in a triangle formation and each side takes turns trying to throw or bounce a ping pong ball into one of the cups of beer on the opponents side of the table. Generally the number of cups of beer on each side of the table is 6, 10 or 12 depending on the length of time the parties want the game to last.
