Any advice for a British web design student desperate to work and live in USA?

Hi I’m a web design student in London and I graduate soon. Last year I lived and worked in San Diego for a web design company and absolutely loved it. I’m determined to get back there to live but it seems so difficult can anyone offer any advice on job hunting, visas, portfolio sites, anything to get me back there really? Thanks!

Unless you can get a company sponsor you for an H-1B visa (the applications can only be filed on April 1 to have any hope of getting one) you will have to get a company to sponsor you for a green card. That takes at least 6 years.
