Poll: what do you think of web developers making porno for the iPhone/iPod Touch? Is that too much?

Just wondering.
If you’re wondering why I posted this query here, well it’s because some of the most opinionated people reside on this section and I want to hear what you have to say.
A buddy of mine is a real nerd. He modded his Ipod and his Iphone, and has hours of porn on his Ipod. I don’t get the point, but oh well. It’s sort of like a drug, I suppose. How does it still have it’s intended effect if it’s always in your face? I mean, spice up a marriage when you’re working too much, I get that. But what, you’re waiting in line to pick up the dry cleaning, maybe some starbucks, "Yup! Need some porn to liven this up!" I just don’t get it.

I think that if I have an iPhone and I want to pay for an app for porn, I should be able to.

No. Censorship is something best done at the level of the individual. There’s nothing forcing a person to download porn on any device, and it’s easy enough to just not visit porn sites. In the case of my kids, I have parental controls setup on their iPhones and their computers to filter inappropriate content. Any parent has the ability to do the same.

It’s called unregulated capitalism.
FYI, the porn industry was the first to turn a profit from the Internet dating back to well before the World Wide Web. They were raking in money hand over fist even when the Internet was not supposed to be used for commercial purposes.

You know I had problems trying to find a porn site that work, but safari on ipodtuch and iphone dose not run flash. But I did find one site that was like youtube but was called youporn.. and it was running a mobile program for phones. Porn makes billion of money each year, so I’m sure they will. Some peoples 401k’s are invested in the porn industry.
But to answer your question. No, I don’t see a problem.

Well for starters it’s already made. They’re just making delivery easier. Also the United States is the biggest consumer of drugs and porn. And according to a program on G4 a few weeks ago Utah oddly enough consumes the most porn.
BTW as I understand it software engineers unemployed from the dot com bubble burst were picked up by the porn industry and developed streaming video.
In this day of unemployment if that’s where the jobs are that’s where they are. If you have a problem with it and don’t want a paycheck well that’s your business. I see nothing wrong with it. There’s a market.
