what is the best way to learn web site design?

should i take a college class? get some kind of software and learn on my own or do some online program? i need to learn how to get a site up with link, affiliates and shopping cart! -oh, and as cheaply as possible of course.

heck no, its pretty simple. just check out your local library and check out some books like dreamweaver, photoshop, and html.

    you need to find a server first and see what programs it allows.. if you just want to practice use front page it is easy to learn
