How much do think is to little for website design ?
Hi
There are many website design companies, or all shapes and sizes.
There is a growing trendy that even companies using templated designs that they have bought itn or small bedroom run concerns are charging upwards of £1000 for their simplest brochure websites or £2000/£2500 for standard CMS and Ecommerce setups.
Is it the case that you as prospective clients would feel if a web design company charges say from £300 for a static 3 page website, or £500 for a 4 page self editable web presence and Ecommerce from £500 they are in someway not professional. And that it doesn’t quite add up ?
Simply put, do you think a website design company can price itselfs out of the market, by charging to little ?
The question was what do people think is acceptable prices to pay a web designer.
So are you saying that if the company is professional it can charge it wants.
No,
You need to provide two price structures under two different brand names.
A premium brand and a cheap brand - "tesco premium" and "tesco value" compete on the same shelf
Each has a different market.
This will give you an economies of scale as two "businesses" use one office, one PC etc. Reduced costs to cover 2 parts of the market.

Well, not necesarily. It depends on the consumer.. if they like flashy websites that can persuade them to think your company is a professional one.. they most likely will. But if it’s a website done in Microsoft Office Word with plain background.. you will find probably little consumers.
As long as the website contains the key info like Contact Details, Product Details, Purchasing Details etc. then your good to go. But put a little more effort into making it look more professional.

If the customer sense that you can solve their problem effectively & effiency, with more value create than other company. They will be more willing to pay you a higher price tag & continously seeking for your advise. Often people think higer price get better quality.
