This is a series of lectures given by a member of TechnocracyInc. This series explains basics of the Technate design for North America.
This series was recorded in 1980. The information presented, accurately portrays the Technate design for North America.
That information is also available in the original paper copy of the Technocracy Study Course… the precedent document regarding the Technate scientific social design.
The Technate design precludes special interest groups.
It is based on science and is not an oligarchic belief system concept.
It uses a system called energy accounting. It is not a political system.
It is not connected to any other groups or ideas other than the Technical Alliance… the original group that presented these ideas.
The Technate design is the viable alternative to the current Price System method.
Investigate and join with us to make the information concerning this subject available to interested parties.
As our resource base becomes destroyed we begin to bumper up on a time when real alternative ideas must be used if survival is desired.
The Technate design provides abundance within the context of sustainability.
It does not use the scarcity based system that has been employed in the past (the Price System).
The use of mechanical energy has altered the reference points concerning how a society can be governed. Functional governance is now possible. The Technate design is secular and humanitarian… creative and imaginitive.

I’ve been trying to wake people up about this idea but not even my immediate family want to hear about it, some reasonable people have even told me they are scared because they think that even if some of us try to unite and put this in practice as an example to humanity, the current establishment will try to first ridiculize us then villify us and then destroy us, like they do with every country that doesn’t follow their rules, but still I think is worth the try, I’m not afraid! I’ll still try.

Our system is a non political system. We will never get involved in politics… except in a referendum sense if it comes to that. Being young is not going to prevent the coming hardship of a collapsed corporate fascist system … which is in progress now. It will be disturbing and very sad… what is about to happen,sadly. (cont.) That is why I say technocracy does involve political changes, even though articles about technocracy say it has nothing to do with politics. I for one wouldn’t care if the current system goes down since I’m young and don’t have much to lose. But picture the majority of people who are in power and control of the capital all over the world. They control governments, armies, media. And the other side of the population are just inert sheep that don’t care and are too lazy to think.

(cont.) that’s why I don’t expect it to emerge any time soon. Pity, but currently the odds are way against the technocracy. Most likely what they’re gonna do is patch the capitalist system once again and continue with the debt-based fiat money. Way too much power is held by the proponents of current system. Furthermore, there are generations that accumulated great wealth and are happy with the status quo. These people would fight till the last to save it.

The main disadvantage of technocracy is that it’s extremely unknown and obscure to the general population. People’s minds are wired to think in terms of money and it would be very hard and unusual for most of them to start thinking in terms of energy units, it requires a paradigm shift to understand the technocracy. Thus most of the people exposed to the idea think it’s way too utopian and “out there”. Just like Ron Paul didn’t become the president. People are very inert and narrow minded.

The Zeitgeist movie …
The Zeitgeist movie is basically crap. Using a dead Krishnamurti… and a few of the actual Technocracy Technate concepts… and then dumbing down the information. Really if you are interested in that material go to the source. . to and actual design of a viable alternative social movement. Venus project was always a price system scam… utopia built around one persons personality. Actual Technocracy stuff is much more interesting. Fresco is a former member who dropped out of the actual program.

The Technate allows …
The Technate allows for any opinion. It is not based on ethics or morality or enforcement of such. It does not depend on Old Man thoughts and laws from the past. It does allow for freedom. Your freedom stops if your fist contacts the nose of another. There are no laws in a Technate beyond that.
