The good: More affordable $299 price; slimmer, more compact design with quieter operation; all games in high-definition; easy-to-use interface; doubles as a Blu-ray and upscaling DVD player; built-in Wi-Fi; 120GB hard drive; HDMI output with 1080p support; no external power supply; built-in Web browser; free online gaming service.
The bad: Lacks backward support for PS2 games; no infrared port means non-Bluetooth universal remotes aren’t compatible; online gaming, media, and commerce options still aren’t as fully developed as Xbox Live, though they’re getting better.
The bottom line: With a smaller design, more energy-efficient operation, lower price tag, and built-in Blu-ray and multimedia capabilities, the PS3 Slim delivers a compelling package for an affordable price.

o i’m too think that the ps3 slim is bad because it’s not like the original ps3 it doesn’t have the same buttons like a finger feel and at the back it doesn’t have the switch button that turn it on and it don’t look so good actully i’m sure that it’s low on power because it’s smaller and i don’t think it will be like original ps3 because it looks that way far enouth bad

try for an original 60 gb. reason: i have one, and by far it’s the best. full backwards compatibility, all the original hardware, 4 usb ports. and if you don’t lke the 60 gb hard drive, just switch it out for a bigger one. it’s the original ps3, so obviously it’s not slimmer. you can find them online and such.

really ive heard …
really ive heard nothing but complaints like match making upwards to about 20 mins before the game starts and then dropping most players
psn on the other hand runs most games like computer games did before they switched to lobbying.
i preffer jumping right into a game rather then waiting X amount of time because people jumping into the lobby complaining that its not full spouting swears and screaming and leaving

Get the PS3 Slim. Trust me you won’t regret it. The controllers are the Dualshock 3 controllers. They are the best controllers for the PS3 with rumble and sixaxis. Look “Dualshock 3″ up on the internet.
